About Kenwood
Kenwood Golf and Country Club is a private club with a select
membership. It has been in continuous existence since 1928.
The clubhouse, golf course and its facilities cover over 160 acres
of rolling countryside, located in Bethesda, Maryland.
Golf and Country Club
Included on the property is an 18-hole, USGA-certified, par 71 golf course,
an Olympic size outdoor swimming pool, an outdoor diving pool with children’s wading
pool, thirteen Har-Tru tennis courts, two all weather hard courts and 4 indoor cushioned
hard courts, an eight-lane duckpin bowling alley, a state-of-the-art fitness center complete
with exercise studio, heated indoor pool, and spa services. Adjacent to the clubhouse is
a guest house with forty-two comfortable, quiet, simply-appointed rooms with standard
amenities.
The Club, surrounded by fine residential properties, is situated inside the Capital Beltway,
(I-495) only minutes from the Nation’s Capitol, approximately seven miles from the White
House and many other cultural and national attractions.

A rolling, well-trapped, irrigated 18-hole Golf Course challenges
the skill and accuracy of mature as well as younger par seekers.

Pro Shop Services
The Golf Pro Shop at Kenwood is fully stocked with a large variety of current and traditional
golf fashions, as well as golf equipment from the top manufacturers. Custom club fitting,
club cleaning, club repairs and storage are available at anytime throughout the year.
Programs
Kenwood Golf and Country Club hosts a variety of golf tournaments, events, and programs
thoughtfully scheduled to accommodate the diverse tastes and preferences of the

The Kenwood Golf professional staff is dedicated to providing outstanding personalized
service for each Member and guest. The staff’s goal is to provide a fun and relaxing
experience during every visit. The golf staff includes PGA and LPGA Golf Professionals with
combined teaching experience of more than 150 years, and various members of our staff
have received multiple awards and recognition, such as “Top 50 LPGA Teacher” and “Top
50 Junior Program and Instructor” awards.

In the Spring of 2006, the Kenwood Fitness/Spa facility was opened.
The fitness center contains the needed equipment to work every muscle
group in your body, a full-service spa, an indoor pool (7 lanes) complete with hot tub,
and a studio exercise room. Child care services are provided as well.

Kenwood offers the convenience and luxury of having both an Indoor
Pool (open year round) and Outdoor Pools (summer season only).
Golf and Country Club
The Indoor Pool area is located within the Fitness Center. The pool
area contains one main pool with 7 lanes for lap swimming (25 yards),
a smaller teach pool for children and a hot tub for adults. For members with children,
there is a family locker room conveniently located across from the hot tub, with lockers,
toilet and a shower.
During the summer season, experience Kenwood’s Outdoor Pool Facility, conveniently
located across from the Fitness Center. Two large outdoor swimming pools, one lap lane
pool (25 meter) and one dive pool, provide the cooling means to contain the boundless
energies of enthusiastic competitive swimmers and divers, as well as contributing to the
enjoyment of less active family members. Tots have their own zero entry wading pool with
lots of toys to keep them busy.
We help keep you hydrated and cool with water and an ice machine on the pool deck.
Right next door is the Kenwood Snack Bar, ready to serve you! And if you forget your sun
protection, we also provide sun block at the towel cabana.

The Kenwood Spa is conveniently located on the main floor of
the fitness center. It offers a relaxing and welcoming environment,
accessible from both the women’s and men’s locker rooms. In addition

to a quiet and comfortable lounge, the Spa has three fully-equipped
treatment rooms to provide services. Our Spa Menu includes Massage
(Table and Seated), Acupuncture, Skin Care, Waxing, Stretching and Kinesio Taping.
Using Kenwood’s Spa couldn’t be easier. The Spa’s highly-trained therapists will gather
information from you prior to your session to ensure your unique needs and concerns are
addressed. You need only determine the length of time you desire and the therapist will
take care of the rest. Each session is fully-customized to your individual needs and, at the
conclusion, you will be provided with ways to extend the benefits of the session with such
things as stretching or posture tips, recommendation to visit a personal trainer or advice on
when to return for your next session. We also offer the convenience of being able to purchase
retail items such as Image Skincare Products, customized body lotions, stretch straps,
kinesiology tape, heat pads, cold packs, neck wraps and CryoDerm® Pain Relieving Heat and
Cold Therapy lotions at the Fitness Center.
To schedule an appointment for any of our services, just stop by the Fitness Center Front
Desk or call 301-320-0397. Since daily appointments will book quickly, we encourage you to
book as far in advance as possible. Kenwood’s Spa is open 7 days a week. The availability of
certain services and therapists can be obtained by contacting the Fitness Center Front Desk.

With its active league schedule and open bowling, Kenwood is unmatched among
Washington Metropolitan area country clubs. Kenwood’s membership has available
an excellent duckpin bowling facility in a bright, cheerful and relaxing atmosphere.
The Bowling Center offers open bowling fun on eight lanes for the entire family, plus air
hockey tables. The leagues are especially suited for social interchange and competition.
All members of Kenwood Golf and Country Club, and their families, are
warmly invited to use the Bowling Center. Alleys can be used for parties
