Patrick from Toronto was diagnosed with aggressive, advanced prostate cancer. Several specialists told him he had 3 months to live. In a You are Loved festival he was totally healed, leaving the doctors with no explanation. Today he is free from cancer and a testimony of the love of God. Haripriya, a seventeen year old Hindu girl, lived with her family 250 miles away from the city where Peter Youngren conducted a You are Loved festival. According to a document from her local hospital, Haripriya’s body was 60% paralyzed. Confined to a wheelchair she tried everything to be healed but to no avail. “When Peter Youngren said that God will help us to have faith, I felt that God will help me. I tried to stand up from my wheelchair and to my amazement I could take a few steps. I was still weak, but suddenly I felt God’s power go through my body and my strength came back. Everyone is shocked – I can run, jump, do anything. I am overjoyed.” Jeremiah was a famous rapper from the Dominican Republic. For years he used both legal and illegal drugs to deal with the pain he experienced after his performances. When he began to cough blood on a daily basis, the diagnosis was lifethreatening cancer. Jeremiah says, “On the day of the surgery the doctors didn’t want to operate. The cancer had become so large that it was too risky. Instead, they sent me home with more medication.” Jeremiah became suicidal. With his knife up against his throat he heard a voice inside of him, “Don’t do it.” He shares, “That same day I found out that Peter Youngren was at the stadium. I was still in terrible pain and felt like I would faint at any moment. I heard a message that was nothing impossible with God. That night my cancer disappeared and everything is normal now.” Kumar Gupta had a promising future as a Bollywood dancer and performer. Just a year before his accident he had acted in his first movie. On a way to a dance lesson, Kumar rather nonchalantly let both his legs hang outside the car. When the vehicle was hit by a motorcycle, both legs were crushed and Kumar lost consciousness. There were several failed surgeries, as steel rods were put into his legs, and then they had to be removed again. Kumar’s dream had been completely crushed.Kumar tells what happened, “I heard about Jesus and then the prayer, ‘Stand up and move your legs’. I got up directly and couldn’t believe it my pain was gone!” The next day his mother commented to a reporter, “I’m so glad that my son can walk again. This is a real miracle from God!” Mr. Bin Salim spent most of his life legally blind. Some friends took him to a Festival on a football field near his home. He was shocked to hear the message that God loves Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists and Christians the same. Characteristically, Peter Youngren said, “I’m not here to lift up one religion over the other or say that one religion is better than the other. I’m here to talk about God’s love through Jesus for all people.” Mr. Bin Salim heard the message and during the prayer his eyes were opened. The next day when a reporter visited his home, he got on a motor scooter driving through the neighborhood while people who saw him applauded him. Mrs. Naomin had been diagnosed with breast cancer. When she attended the You are Loved festival she heard a choir singing, “Hallelujah!” Being a Hindu herself she wondered what it meant, maybe it was the name of some deity. During the prayer time, she knew something had happened, Naomin tells her story, “Before I heard Peter Youngren speak I had never heard about Jesus. I only knew there was some free healing or medication being offered. I simply said “Lord Jesus if you can help me please cure me. I am so tired of all the pain.” Naomin continues, “After the prayer I felt better than I had for a very long time so I decided to go right to the hospital and see if the doctor could give me a thorough examination to be sure that I was really cured. Well, the doctors did test me carefully and have declared me well. There is no trace of cancer.” Venue Information Desert Valley Church 7575 E.
