Amtrak Downeaster
Amtrak now offers daily service between Boston’s north
Station and Brunswick. the train station is located on
Station Avenue approximately five hundred yards from
campus. there’s a special discount for Homecoming

off the regular (full) adult fare. (the offer is valid for

there are two AtMs on Bowdoin’s campus: a Bank of
America AtM is located on the ground level of david

Computer and Internet Access
Computers are available for use on the first floor of
Hawthorne-longfellow library and throughout david
Saul Smith Union and thorne Hall during building
hours. to access wireless from your computer, tablet,

2014 inductees. now in its eleventh year, the Bowdoin
College Athletic Hall of Honor was founded to perpetuate
the memory of those persons who have brought
distinction, honor, and excellence to Bowdoin through their
accomplishments in athletics. this year’s inductees are:
•Bob Patterson ’68 (posthumous) – men’s basketball
•Joe Bonasera ’73 – football, men’s lacrosse, and men’s
track and field

Tour of Bowdoin’s New Solar PV Facility
Bus departs from the granite Polar Bear, Hyde Plaza
located on three acres acquired from the former Brunswick
naval Air Station and on the roof of the Farley/watson
complex, the facility totals approximately 4,500 solar panels
and is expected to meet about 8 percent of Bowdoin’s
annual electrical demand. the tour has limited space and is
first-come, first-served.

Oxbow, and the classic Shipyard Brewing Company. Enjoy
