Celebrate Homecoming Week with the College of Education!
Monday, November 2nd, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Mum Day
Add to the huge mum outside Suite 160. Tag it with your name, graduation year, and program!
Tuesday, November 3rd, 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., 3rd floor Cougar Care Day
Bake sale with the proceeds benefitting the Houston Food Bank.
Wednesday, November 4th, 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., KIVA Ice Cream Social
Enjoy ice cream, prizes, and the Lip Sync Battle featuring Students, Faculty, and Staff! Prizes given to
the first fifty guests!
Thursday, November 5th, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., FH 160 Photo Booth Day
Take photos in front of the COE backdrop and upload them to the College’s Facebook.
Thursday, November 5th 6:00 p.m., UH Hilton Star Awards
Star Awards provides an opportunity for donors, alumni, and faculty to engage with scholarship
students, learn their stories, and celebrate the impact the College has on our communities. Also, the
event allows the college to honor outstanding alumni, faculty and community partners. RSVP to

Friday, November 6th 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Cougar Paw Day
Take a pic with a cougar paw on your face or arm (painted or temporary tattoo), and upload to the
College’s Facebook.
Saturday, November 7th Time TBD, Party on the Plaza Tailgating - UH vs. Cincinnati
Join the College of Education and the Alumni Association Board for tailgating. Students, faculty, staff and
