Birthed from Azusa in 1906 and incorporated in
August 1923, Home Assembly Church exists as a
local body of believers to fulfill the great
commission given by Jesus Christ to preach and
teach all nations the truth of the gospel of Jesus
Christ (Matthew 28:19). We are here to serve as a
church with open doors to people of every walk of
life and to share the love of God through the
gospel of Jesus Christ to all, realizing it is the
power to change lives (Romans 1:16).
WORSHIP AND PRAISE
Worshipping God is our most
significant value as He is above all
and through us all. We pursue
worship acknowledging God is
Supreme and deserves our adoration, admiration, praise
and thanks. We offer Him worship and praises with
sincerity, humility, reverence, joyfulness and childlikeness because He is God, and He deserves the highest
place in our lives and community.

The Word of God is viewed as an absolute and is the
authority in our church for our life (styles), instruction,
guidance, and definition of truth. Bible-based preaching
and teaching inspired by the Holy Spirit will facilitate
our spiritual growth and ministry development.
Respect of persons is an offense in
God’s kingdom as all people are created
in His image and likeness. Favoring
someone because of their economic
status, ethnic background, gender or social status is not
acceptable in the Kingdom. In short, God’s purpose in
sacrificing Jesus Christ was to offer salvation to whom
ever believes.; regardless of their history.
PEOPLE MATTER TO GOD
GIVING AND STEWARDSHIP
The Holy Ghost is the love of God made manifest in our
lives. The love of God is administered to every believer
so people may feel loved and accepted. Since people
matter to God, people are the most important
component of the kingdom and our discipleship is
characterized by our love one to another. Since Jesus
died to show the love of God to the world, then the
believer must show this love to all as well. This
cultivates an atmosphere for people to become whole
and experience spiritual health.
The bible-based teaching of tithing, giving offerings, and
sharing life’s resources benefit the church to provide what
is needed for the Christian education of the membership
and the spiritual development of the body so it is
equipped to do the work of the ministry.

BIBLE-BASED PREACHING AND TEACHING
We seek to reach people; to transform lives
through the teaching of the Word of God and by
spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ to all
unbelievers as inspired by the Holy Ghost. We
aim to develop the congregation of believers
through Bible-based preaching and teaching;
helping individuals define their gifts and callings,
which will enable them to reach others and lead
them to Christ. We seek to cultivate an
environment of sensitive, loving, and spirit-led
people who will reach those within our
community and beyond, so whosoever believeth
on Him shall be saved and all who do believe
adopt a sincere interest in each other’s needs and
concerns. We desire to develop a body of
believers who will become spiritually mature and
will bring forth fruit, much fruit, and more fruit of
the Spirit (Ephesians 4:12-16; Gal. 5:22-23; John
15:5, 8, 16, 17). In essence, our purpose is to reach
out to change lives and reach in to continue the
change; CHANGE: Come Have A New Growth
