Gordon Cable-Stay has been
designing and manufacturing model suspension bridges
and displays for over ten
years. Initially designed for
model trains, our suspension
bridges are also used for slot
car, general purpose diorama
and stand-alone display. The
length of our suspension
bridges range from 15” (200
feet N) to 80” (1000 feet N or
320 feet O) and even longer. Primarily sold
as kits, models can also be special ordered
fully assembled with or without track,
specific color, lighting and base-material if
noted i.e. wood, PVC, acrylic etc. Models include LED lighting kits that are sold
separately. All kits come with easy-to-read
instructions and models are relatively simple to build. Our models are produced
in the US, in limited quantities; they are not mass produced. GCS products are
robust and built for many years of enjoyment.
What’s New
GCS has all-new models available this year. Our
new designs include a two-lane double track variant with inset lanes to aid with track placement
and realism. We are also introducing our new line
of compact bridges that can be used on smaller
layouts, while retaining the look and feel of our
longer suspension bridges. In addition, look for the
all-new CSW Series; heavy duty all-wood construction and advanced LED lighting for S, O and G
scales with all-weather options.

Compatible Track
GCS compatible track is widely avaiable,
such as: Atlas, Kato, Peco, Lionel,
CS15 with
LGB, Scalextric, Carrera, SCX and
Atlas Flextrack
AFX/Aurora.
Note: Assembled models include track upon customer request.

Gordon Cable-Stay designs for Z, N, HO, S, O, G scales; as well
as 1/32, 1/24 and HO slot car scales. Almost every design can be
scaled to fit the gauge you are working in. If you are interested
in a design that is not available in your scale, contact us. We are
more than happy to custom build a kit or finished model to your
gauge and specifications.

Elevated Systems
In addition to bridges and displays, GCS
designs and manufactures advanced elevated
rail systems for commercial and residential
applications. We use state-of-the-art materials and electronics for these 2nd generation,
all-new systems; available this year.
Displays
Train, automobile and stand-alone displays for most scales. From
stained Hemlock to acrylic glass; museum quality covers and LED
lighting.

The CS-W Series is a new line of large-scale, robust bridges made from all-wood construction, carbon steel suspension, with all-weather and advanced LED lighting options. The
CS-W 40” Open Dual Spire is the largest of all GCS bridges. Bridge stands 16” inches tall
and employs 12 support cables. Deluxe lighting option consists of 12 LEDs per towersegment, including remote blue and white floods with individual On/Off switches, for beautifully-surreal front illumination control (see last page images). End piers, deck extenders
and tower extenders also available. Also suitable for stand-alone display.
