projects, learn new techniques, get ideas
from others and just have "Loads of Fun"

Committee for Persons with Disabilities. We are also doing
a special collection drive for Dream Align Ministries located

The Alamance County Mayors’ Committee for Persons with Disabilities
(ACMCPD) is a non-profit organization that was founded in 1991 by a group of
Alamance County Mayors’ Committee
For Persons with Disabilities
individuals that were concerned about the people in Alamance County living with
disabilities. Our Mission is to enhance the quality of life for residents with disabilities in
Alamance County by advocating and promoting awareness for persons and families living
with disabilities.

We awarded two $500 scholarships to students in Alamance County with a
disability and donated $200 to ACC Career College.
We financially supported one child to attend a summer program at Life’s
Journey Child Development Center. Due to this child’s disability this was the
only summer program in Alamance County that would accept and care for her
while her mother worked full time.
Along with the Knights of Columbus we were able to take over 110 ABSS
students with autism shopping with a $20 gift card to Rose’s Store at Cum
Park Plaza and then provide them with lunch at Hursey’s BBQ.
In October, we have an annual banquet to promote awareness and honor
local individuals who have excelled in the community; as well as local
businesses and group who have supported these individuals in various ways
throughout the year.
Other partnerships we are involved with include Special Olympics and Junior
Olympics at Lifespan, Inc. We also contribute monetary donations during the
holiday seasons for families in need.
Our committee meets on the third Thursday of every other month beginning in
January from 12:00 noon – 1:00pm at the Kernodle Senior Center in Burlington. At
each meeting we have a different speaker who discusses topics that help us to
advocate for those with disabilities. Our meetings are open to anyone that would
like to attend.
DREAM ALIGN MINISTRIES INC. is a non-profit 501 (c) 3 organization located at 124 E. Pine St., Graham, NC.
Dream Align Ministries offers so much assistance in a variety of different ways to so many in need!


 Food assistance sign-ups are Monday’s 10am – 12pm, Monday nights 7pm – 9pm, and Friday’s
