STORY OF THE WEEK Myleene devastated over Graham’s plans to leave The mum of two is left reeling afte r discovering how her ex plotted their split PHOTOS: Barcroft Media, Express Pictures, Rex Features, Xposure ■ Myleene Klass was hurt enough when her husband Graham Quinn dumped her on her birthday. But last week, it emerged that she was dealt another blow after discovering he was secretly plotting to leave her for weeks. After shockingly calling it quits with the former Hear’Say singer, 34, on April 6, it’s been revealed that Graham, 38, moved into a new bachelor pad just days later – a sign he had been planning to leave his wife for some time. “Five days after Graham moved out, she was told by a mutual friend that he had bought a new flat in London,” a source revealed last week. “It was the final sucker punch. She feels totally betrayed. “How can someone house-hunt, put in an offer, exchange contracts and move all in the space of five days? He must have been planning this for weeks, if not months.” Now the heartbroken single mum is said to be selling the £3.2million dream family home she shared with Graham and their daughters, Ava, four, and Hero, 14 months, because it is “too painful” to carry on living there. On April 4, two days before he left, Myleene tweeted, “In two days, London to Marrakech to Casablanca and now Egypt. My girls are keeping up the pace, I want to vomit with the tiredness.” Worryingly, Myleene is said to have “lost her appetite” and dropped a stone in weight with the stress, making her now below her weight in April, which she said was 8¾ stone. “Myleene has endured two months of hell and does not deserve this,” one insider revealed. “Her friends are angry with [Graham], especially as she’s been left holding the babies.” Graham’s sister Lisa Duffy, wife of former Boyzone singer and ex-Coronation Street actor Keith Duffy, is said to be particularly devastated that their marriage is over. “She is very upset about the whole thing,” a friend of Lisa’s claimed. “It’s painful.” While the reason for the split hasn’t been confirmed, Myleene hinted in an interview she gave before marrying Graham last October that becoming parents had put a massive strain on their relationship. “I love the girls and having children, but Gray said he felt like an unpaid runner first time round,” she revealed in a previously unpublished interview. “I’d be like, ‘Listen, enough of that, go and get me some muslins and help me.” The musician also said that Graham was not a fan of their daughters sleeping in their marital bed, adding, “I’m sure Graham’s going to contemplate moving out into the shed.” While Myleene and Graham cannot file for divorce until a year after they wed, Myleene could stand to lose a sizeable chunk of her estimated £11million fortune once they do start proceedings. “If she does not have a pre-nup, everything is up for grabs,” celebrity divorce lawyer Deborah Jeff told new!. “The time they lived together before they married is added to the length of the marriage, so it’s technically an 11-year marriage, meaning he’ll be likely to take a substantial settlement upwards of £1million, probably around £2million.” OLIVER GRADY
