ABOUT THE EXHIBITION
In the fall of 2015, George Grosz’s Eclipse of the Sun will be
leaving its “home” in the Museum galleries for temporary loan
to the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. This upcoming
journey inspired this year-long exhibition examining Grosz’s
monumental work alongside other artwork depicting related
themes.
The exhibit includes paintings, prints, and
photographs dating from the 19th and 20th centuries.
George Grosz, Eclipse of the Sun,
1926, Oil on canvas.
When exploring Power, Politics, and War, students will
