The troubled star remains
estranged from her mother

according to insiders.
In the end, 26-year-old
Britney agreed to see only
her father Jamie, sources
revealed.
“Britney is really angry
with Lynne and Jamie Lynn.
She refused to see or talk to
either one of them,” an insider
revealed.
“Britney said she hates
them both. She’s still very
angry about Jamie Lynn’s
pregnancy and upset because
she was left out of everything.
She hates all the attention
Jamie Lynn has gotten.”

Spears began babbling in
strange voices and taking
on bizarre personalities as
she was wheeled into Los
Angeles’ Cedars-Sinai emergency
room.
“She was screaming and yelling
nonsense in various voices,” revealed
an insider.
“Britney was jabbering on and
on in a little girl’s voice, and then
switched to a southern accent,
and then a British accent. She was
completely out of touch with reality.”
It was a surreal scene, with
desperate staff, police and security
guards trying to restrain and calm
one of the world’s most famous stars
as she flailed and fought and came
completely apart in front of their
horrified eyes.
The ENQUIRER interviewed
eyewitnesses to get all the shocking
details of the star’s horrendous
meltdown – which ended with
Britney being served with a
restraining order to stay away from
her own children.

Shocking details of
bad feelings from Britney
toward her mother.
Dr. Phil arrived at
Cedars-Sinai Medical
Center in Los Angeles on
Saturday morning, Jan. 5,
just as Britney was preparing
to leave, said a close source.
THE TV SHRINK TOLD Britney
that all her family members
– her mother, her father, her
sister and her brother Bryan
– want to see her get the
help she needs. He even
offered to bring help to her,
said the source.
Dr. Phil followed Britney
outside where her father was
waiting to take her home,
the source revealed.
“Britney refused Dr. Phil’s
offer of help.”
Dr. Phil later came under
fire by other psychological
professionals for insinuating
himself in the situation
without Britney’s invitation.
Britney’s feud with her
mother dates to last February
when Lynne promised to take
care of Britney’s two young
sons if she went into rehab.
Instead, Lynne gave the boys
to Britney’s then-husband
Kevin Federline, said the
source.
Britney also feels her
mother schemed with
Kevin to keep her in rehab
by hinting the couple might
reconcile if she stayed there,
said the source.
Lynne also threw her
support behind Kevin in the
custody battle – and then
agreed to write a book on celebrity parenting that Britney
feared would portray her in a
bad light, said the source.
“Britney is paranoid that
she can’t trust her own
family. She feels constantly
betrayed by them, especially
her mother,” said the source.
Back in Louisiana, Lynne
was having a tough time
coping with Britney’s latest
setback, the insider told
The ENQUIRER.
“Lynne used to feel that
her life was like a fairy tale,”
said the insider. “Now it’s
worse than she could have
ever imagined.”

“I want my baby back!” the singer
shouted in a thick southern accent.
Then she inexplicably switched
to a British accent and said: “I need
to go to the loo. I need to make sure
I still look beautiful.”

Then nurses restrained both her
arms and legs with leather straps,
according to the source.
“Britney’s eyes were dilated,
and her mouth was so dry it was
difficult for her to talk clearly.”
Britney had taken methamphetamine. The drug – whose medical
uses include treatment of narcolepsy,
attention deficit disorder and obesity – gives users a short yet intense
rush, followed by increased activity
and loss of appetite.
“When Britney was told her
father Jamie was at the hospital, she
shouted: ‘My dad? He’s unworthy to
be my father!’ ” disclosed the source.
“She suddenly became calm and
started talking in a little girl’s voice.
‘I don’t like this game. I’m not going
to play anymore,’ she said.”
After being given a sedative,
she calmed down. But soon the
performer was bowled over by a
huge shockwave.
The mother of two was served with
a restraining order barring her from
going within 100 feet of her sons.
“When Britney was handed
the document,” says the source,
“she blurted: ‘I don’t have to sign
anything! I’m Britney Spears!…I’m
Britney, and I can do what I want!’ ”
The following day, “Britney was
dancing around her room,” revealed
the source. “And she was speaking in
a British accent.”
Two days after her admittance
to the hospital, Britney insisted on
being released.
“She left with a big smile on her
face,” said the source. “It was as if
she was checking out of a hotel.”
