the nation for the most dazzling performers. The best
singers, bands and tribute acts are waiting in the wings,
ready to entertain you.
Of course, we also know that our regular guests love some
things the way they are. That’s why Boomer the kangaroo
is still here, eager to delight your children with his unique
brand of fun!
We also continue to provide quality me-time in the luxurious
Waterside Spa, a whole heap of fun in our swimming pools,
relaxing lunches and evening meals in the Waves Bar. And
you can enjoy meals as a family in the Waterside Restaurant.

accommodation, cleanliness, entertainment, friendly atmosphere, helpful staff. I’ve been to

The Waterside Venue
Waves Bar, Diner and Pizzeria
For most visitors to Waterside, the evening’s
entertainment centres on the Waterside Venue, a short
stroll from the park’s entrance and right on the water’s
edge. It’s also home to a fully licensed bar and Champagne
Bar, first-class restaurant as well as a take-away.
Waves Bar is the perfect place to enjoy a relaxing
drink and watch live sport within easy reach of all
the family facilities. Next door to Waves Bar, the
Diner Food Bar and Pizzeria opens day and night,
serving a tempting array of dishes.
The perfect way to start an evening here is with
a glass of fizz at the Champagne Bar before moving
on to a night of fun-filled entertainment.
OUT AND ABOUT
If you decide to head out, Weymouth is packed with pubs,
restaurants and cafés to suit every occasion and budget.
Whether you’re after a takeaway by the water’s edge or
a smart three-course dinner, the town has it covered.
The harbourside is perhaps the most picturesque place
to eat, with a good range of pubs, bistros and restaurants.
And of course the harbour wall is the perfect spot for
some al fresco fish and chips while watching the boats
come and go.
The locality boasts many superb eateries of note. Here are
just a few if you’re looking for something a bit special.
The Crab House Café is a wonderfully informal sea shack
overlooking the Portland coast serving the freshest fish and
seafood imaginable. For something more formal, Mallams
serves Modern British cuisine (with an emphasis on fresh
seafood) in a delightful harbourside setting. Meanwhile,
La Caverna in Dorchester has carved out a well-deserved
reputation as the place to go for authentic Italian cooking.
Tables at eateries across the local area can be
booked through Reception.

The Waterside Restaurant
Take-Away
If you don’t fancy cooking, the Waterside Restaurant
is the perfect place for a family meal, with all the
favourites on the menu – as well as a daily specials
board. And for a real treat, enjoy a Sunday roast
with all the trimmings from the restaurant’s carvery.
If you’re after something simple you can take back
to your holiday home, or eat on the beach, the TakeAway offers English classics like fish and chips as well
as favourites like curries. There’s also a children’s
menu. A specials board means there’s always
something new too!

Borough Council. It guarantees that all the catering
facilities across the park are to the same very high
standard and offer you first-class dining.

So much to see from Waterside
Waterside is perfectly situated for exploring the surrounding area.
It is set in the heart of beautiful Dorset, a county famed for its stunning
countryside and thriving towns, like Dorchester, Bridport and Poole.
The park is right on the Jurassic Coast, one of the most
beautiful stretches in the UK and a UNESCO World
Heritage Site. On our doorstep is Weymouth with its
Georgian seafront, golden sandy beach and historic harbour.
Sandworld, which is located at Lodmoor Country Park,
close to the Sealife Centre, is a place to marvel at amazing
structures made from sand and water.
If you want to see more animals, a trip to Farmer Palmers
is a must. Designed for children of eight and under, the
farm offers a range of indoor and outdoor play areas and
activities, most of which make the most of the resident
animals. For those fascinated by underwater creatures,
Sealife is a unique, interactive aquarium experience that
will keep the family entertained all day.
A short distance from the park is a range of fantastic
attractions with something for all the family. There’s Monkey
World, a chimpanzee rescue centre where visitors come
face-to-face with our closest (and very playful) relatives from
the animal kingdom. Abbotsbury Swannery is an historic
centre at the Bridport end of the Fleet Lagoon, where the
yearly highlight is the hatching of baby swans in May.
For a day that combines exhilarating heritage with great
views, Swanage Railway is one of the best preserved –
and busiest – steam and diesel railways in the UK. Trains
take visitors on a six-mile trip through beautiful countryside,
and also offer a number of other events and activities –
including the chance to drive your own engine!
Weymouth beach
For even simpler pleasures, Waterside is superbly situated
for walkers, with direct access to the South West Coast Path,
so you’re on stunning sea-hugging tracks within minutes.
Whatever you’re looking for in a walk, our reception staff
can suggest hikes of varying lengths and intensity to suit
your requirements. And we’re very good at pointing out
routes that take in a nice pub. After all, there’s no better
way to end a good jaunt than with a relaxing drink!
For keen anglers, a nearby lake offers the opportunity of
a great day’s fishing. The two-acre lake, well stocked with
carp, bream, roach and tench, is a short distance from the
park. And if sea-fishing takes your fancy, there are charters
offering every option – from a two-hour mackerel trip
to an eight-hour hunt for bass.
Finally, for an activity the whole family is sure to enjoy,
visit the neighbouring stables. All rides are based on ability
and accompanied, so whatever your level, you’ll have a
great time!

Where dates of bank holiday weeks change from

SECOND week at £150
Make your holiday a fortnight by adding a second week for just £150. Valid on holidays starting from Saturday
13 April to 25 May or 14 September to 26 October. (Excludes peak weeks. Not available on all accommodation. Subject to availability).
Choosing our Atlanta or Provence Holiday Homes entitles you and your family to a 10%
discount card for use in our bars, restaurant and take-away. In addition, you can check in early from 2pm instead of 4pm.

PRE-EASTER BREAK – 5 nights
A deposit of £60 per holiday home plus Holiday
Cancellation Plan Fee of £31.60 is required at the
time of booking.
You can make payments at your convenience throughout
the year, so long as the full balance is cleared six weeks
before the holiday commences. If not received the booking
will be cancelled. No refund of deposit will be made.
Please notify us if you do not receive confirmation
of your booking within ten days. If we are unable to
accommodate you, your deposit and cancellation plan
will be returned immediately.
Bookings are from 4pm on the day of arrival and
holiday homes are to be vacated by 9.30am on the
day of departure.

Parents are asked to see that children do not cause damage in the
amenities or elsewhere on the Park. Parents will be responsible for
any damage caused by their children. Parents and other persons standing
in their place are also responsible for supervising the safety and conduct
of their children at all times (e.g. by preventing climbing).

Children under the age of 8 must be accompanied by a responsible
adult in the play areas.
Noise of all kinds (including music and singing) must always be kept
at reasonable levels, and between 11pm and 8am must not be audible
outside the caravan.

Provided the Company receives written notice from the Hirer more
than seven days before the holiday is due to start and that the Hirer
is cancelling for one of the reasons given in the previous paragraph,
the Hirer will receive a full refund of the booking payment.
Pets are not permitted (some owners of privately owned caravans
do bring their pets which you may see around the park).

If the Hirer is forced to cancel prior to the booked holiday because
of redundancy, illness, death, injury or maternity, or illness of any
member of the Hirer’s party, or death or serious injury, or illness to
a close relative, and this can be substantiated and has arisen since
the Hirer made the booking, the Hirer will no longer be liable for
the balance of the hire monies due on the booking.
The speed limit of 10mph on the Park must be adhered to.
Some facilities will be available only at limited times or in high season.
CREDIT CARD PAYMENT
VEHICLE REGISTRATION
The Hirer of a company caravan is responsible for the full hire charge.
In order to remove any anxiety the Hirer may have, should it become
necessary to cancel the holiday, the company has introduced a
cancellation plan at a nominal charge. This has been arranged to help
the Hirer. To qualify, the Hirer must notify the Company in writing
immediately the circumstances arise, and it is important that the Hirer
receives written acknowledgement from the Company. The decision
of the company on all claims will be final. The plan offers
the following important benefits:

“The Hirer” is the person responsible for making the booking.

Waterside Holiday Park is only two miles
from Weymouth town centre.
From Dorchester take the A354 to Weymouth.
At the Jurassic roundabout take the 2nd exit
signposted to Waterside Holiday Park. Follow
the road, over another small roundabout
and at the next roundabout take the 3rd exit,
following the signs. Turn left to Bowleaze Cove
as you reach the beginning of the sea wall.
If you are approaching on the A353 from the
direction of Wareham, turn left to Bowleaze
Cove as you reach the beginning of the sea wall.
On arriving at the Cove, Waterside Holiday
Park is immediately on your left.
