WINTER 2o13 A BETTER WAY Serving the Education Community Proudly Now that MCT has joined Educational Systems FCU, we’re a newly expanded family, finding a better way together. For over 60 years, we’ve proudly served the education community. Our mission is and always has been to grow by helping the members of the education community achieve their financial goals and dreams. Over the decades, that commitment has earned us a trusted reputation as we help our members plan for the future. When members talk about our Credit Union, they don’t mention numbers or decimal points, they talk about interactions, relationships and a sense of belonging. They talk about the emotions of saving for tomorrow and managing their finances today— and knowing we’re always there to back them up. It’s what makes us more than a financial institution. It’s what makes us your Credit Union based on the cornerstones of our mission and core values of: Integrity A Better Way… To Find Convenience 3 To Finance Life 4 To Get Things Done 6 To Stay In Touch 8 Competence Commitment Respect As part of the education community, we’re always listening and ready to serve you. Now that you are part of our education family, this is the last time you will be seeing the MCT logo. I know that your first week of being brought into our systems after the New Year was tough for many of you as you faced long lines in our branches and difficulties in reaching us. During those tough few days, I worked along with our employees helping members over the phone, via email and in every one of our Montgomery County Branches. I heard your stories and empathized with the anxiety of those who had issues and urgent questions. I do not want to downplay the frustrations that some members had with understanding the new systems and getting helped. I do, however, want to acknowledge the appreciation we have for the members who were very supportive and exceptionally patient even when confronted with long lines and busy signals. I was so pleased to see members help one another, and help our employees as we worked through questions and issues. At Educational Systems FCU, we are always working to find a better way.
