part of every model’s career. Your portfolio is your
calling card—designed to showcase and sell to
potential agencies and clients by showing off your
personality, scope and versatility.

In order to build a successful model portfolio, you
will need to produce certain shot styles expected
by the industry. For a new model beginning a
modeling career these shots should include:

A natural headshot image with very little
make-up

A headshot image with strong make-up

A waist up shot photographed against a white
background, referred to as a ‘White Wall’

A full length body shot photographed against a
White Wall

The first step towards your
modelling future
Model Portfolio Package —$299
Hair and Make-Up
The session begins with a consultation with a
professional hair and make-up stylist. They will give
you advice on styling to achieve your portfolio look.
Your makeup will then be
applied and your hair styled
for your first ‘natural’ look.
Style Coaching
Throughout the shoot you will be
given coaching on how to pose
and present yourself to camera. We
have a very experienced team who work within the
modelling industry—their coaching is priceless and
will help you to relax and achieve natural and
beautiful poses.
Our package offers a 2 hour session that includes:
Hair, make-up and style coaching—An experienced photographer in a white wall studio— A Model
Composite Card—5 retouched magazine quality images & 15 unedited images, provided on DVD
Photography
Our experienced and professional photographer
will work with you in our ‘White Wall’ studio. There
is time allowed for an outfit change and restyle.
A common shot list often includes:
Natural Head Shot—Natural Full Length—
Strong Head Shot—Strong Full Length.
Model Composite Card
Referred to in the industry as a
‘Comp Card’, it’s the equivalent of
a business card for models. One
Comp Card featuring 5
retouched images is included in your
package. A pack of 12 Comp Cards is
available for $29.95. All the images on
the DVD are yours to print as you please
at normal print prices.
