Move oversight of Rinks and Recreation to the Parks and
Environment Committee as soon as possible so that:
1. Currently over-worked PF & R staff will be reporting to
no more than One (1) Council Committee meeting per
month.
2. Rinks and Recreation can be given Higher Priority on
Parks & Environment Agendas.
3. Rinks and Recreation will not be Competing with
Childcare, Fire, Ambulance and Shelters for Committee
Attention at Parks & Environment .
4. Committee workloads will be more balanced between
CDRC and Parks & Environment.
