This award winning play by Amy herzog is a compassionate and
unsentimental exploration of the funny, frustrating, and ultimately
life-changing relationship between a grandson learning to face
his life, and a grandmother who is starting to forget hers.
Warning:
Mild adult themes.
Recommended 14+ years.
This is a story about Vincent and his brother Theo. Vincent was a
man of far reaching and titanic emotions that he poured into his
paintings, which then spilled into his personal life. Never fully at
ease in company, his only closest and dearest friend was his
brother Theo who loved him regardless.
This work is an interpretation of the internal workings of his mind
– from the female voices in his head to the guilt ridden reactions
of his words to Theo resulting in incredible masterpieces. With a
cast of three and an amazing set and original score, this work is
set to fly.

Jane Clifton leads a stellar cast to tell a story about family,
loyalty and property prices in regional Australia. A family block,
worthless for generations, is suddenly rezoned as part of a
regional housing estate. Written with wit, this is a highly
satisfying piece of theatre about life beyond the big city.
"... takes the verse style of Banjo Paterson and dusts it off, gives
it a polish and then uses it to tell a story any modern Australian
would be hard pressed not to enjoy." William McInnes

take flight with your imagination with this beautiful
production of The Little Prince adapted from the book
by Antoine de saint-exupéry.
Friday 8 July, 2.30pm
saturday 9 July, 10am
& 2pm
hIPPO! hIPPO! A BIG neW musical Adventure!
tells the story of a little girl and her large, imaginary,
loveable-pink hippopotamus friend.
With its timeless message of the importance of forming
friendships, the little Prince is an adventure story that
celebrates the strength of our imagination.
Theatre
HIPPO is the imaginary friend of GIRL, a young child. GIRL
believes that HIPPO lives on the roof and can seemingly do
anything he wants, when he wants, how he wants, particularly the
things that GIRL is unable or not allowed to do. Through HIPPO,
GIRL is able to allay her fears and gain confidence in her early
childhood years.
One of the most widely read books in history – 140 million copies
sold worldwide – saint-exupéry’s exquisite and mysterious tale
tells the adventures of a young and very curious prince who
leaves his tiny home planet and journeys across the universe.
Along the way he meets a pilot crash-landed in the desert, a
cunning snake, a wild fox and an oddball cast of grown-ups with
some very silly ideas about the things that really matter.

A warrior on the fields of war, felled by the sharpness of
whispered words, Othello is a man swept up in desire, quickly
turned to murderous rage when he is betrayed by his military
brother-in-arms, the cynically destructive Iago.
Othello is directed by Bell Shakespeare’s Artistic Director
Peter evans, in a gripping production that will touch audiences
to their core, as envy is a weapon wielded with brazen savagery,
and the complex contradictory nature of humanity is tested.

“We see both physicality and illusion. Bodies become
imagery, one image merges into another, poetically
inexplicable." Alastair Macaulay, New York Times
shadowland is a fusion of shadow theatre, illusion and dance
using dynamic screens.
The story is a surreal experience of a young girl’s sensational
world as she comes of age. With nowhere for her thoughts to
go but into her dreams, she falls asleep only to wake to
something lurking behind her bedroom wall — her shadow.

Meet Simon, who’s going deaf; Michael, with his grey suit and
grey life; Ginny, Michael’s wife, who’s disillusioned and drifting
away; and Claude, Michael’s boss and, well, a blockhead.
Together they embark on an epic South Seas adventure in
search of a magical – but possibly non-existent – island.
Set to a rhythmic original score by musician, producer and film
composer David Poe, shadowland was created in collaboration
with lead writer steven Banks.

FAC Arts Access aims to ensure that everyone in the Frankston
community has the opportunity to enjoy and participate in the arts.
Every year they are featured in the World edinburgh military
tattoo, which is televised worldwide to 45 million people and
they are constantly in demand for international competitions,
concerts and parades.
A donation of any amount helps us to run Arts Access programs
such as Art in Dialysis at Frankston
Hospital, Cirque sur roues (wheelchair
circus – for people with an intellectual
disability or acquired brain injury) and
our ticket subsidy program for people affected by homelessness.
Their most famous piece is Amazing Grace, which reached
number one in the charts in the United Kingdom, Ireland,
Australia, New Zealand, Canada and South Africa. The concert
will feature Amazing Grace, Braveheart Trilogy and themes of
Titanic, Last of the Mohicans, Soldier Soldier and many more.
All donations over $2 are tax deductable.
