Jakarta, 19 August 2015: An industry leader in commercial van segment, Weststar
Maxus Sdn Bhd, a member of The Weststar Group will participate and have a prominent
presence at the 2015 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS).
The most prestigious automotive exhibition in Indonesia, the event takes place at the
Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE), BSD City from the 20th to the 30th of August
2015. Participating under its Indonesian subsidiary, PT Weststar Maxus Indonesia,
Weststar Maxus booth is strategically located at Hall 3, booth no. 3i.
Presenting a cohesive combination of Weststar Maxus range of commercial vehicles,
Weststar Maxus draws on the versatility of its customized V80 commercial van variants
to spread its reach to a larger business and individual Indonesian demographics.
Three units of customized Weststar Maxus V80 commercial vans along with three base
models will be on display throughout the exhibition. The vehicles include a completely
built-up caravan, a full-fledged ambulance and a luxury line VIP van. These commercial
vehicles exemplify the class leading space, unparalleled versatility and groundbreaking
flexibility of the model.

customization and fabrication options to choose from. Further, with
launch of the Weststar Maxus V80, Weststar Maxus looks to cater to

Over the last two years, Weststar Maxus has been driving important stakes to establish
its footing in Indonesia. Following an announcement in 2013, Weststar Maxus started its
retail operation in Jakarta in late 2014.
The last two years have seen Weststar Maxus progressively satisfying and obtaining all
the necessary approvals after studying the Indonesian commercial vehicle market
segment. This has provided Weststar Maxus a strong foundation in light of its recent
retail and dealership expansion beyond Jakarta.
