END OF FISCAL YEAR – 91.9 KVCR is happy to report the team raised $30,500 in our short
Summer Radio Fund Drive. Our goal was $30,000
and we exceed it. During the drive we introduced
the KVCR Pint Glass as a “thank you” gift for
listeners who pledged at the $90 level. KVCR did a
call for artwork from local artists and received
several submissions. The artwork was voted on by
staff and the piece that received the most votes
came from local artist was Justin Valdivia, a
student at the Art Institute in San Bernardino. In the
Fall, the school will make it a class assignment. We
plan to offer the KVCR Pint Glass for the next 4 drives featuring a new artist each time. The
idea is for members to collect all 4. Thanks to the generosity of our listeners and several
leadership gifts, we exceeded the goal on the morning of the fourth day of the drive – June
19th. Thanks so much if your gift was in the mix!
