Use this knot to join superline (or other
braids) to mono’s:
• Double the superline, creating the desired;
length of finished leaders;
• Wrap the mono down the superline 10
times;
• Wrap the mono back up the superline 10
times;
• and through the original hole;
• Lubricate, pull tight, and trim the tag end.
INSTRUCTIO NS
Trilene knot
The Trilene knot is an all-purpose connection
to be used in joining mono to swivels, hooks
or lures. The Trilene knot retains around 90%
of it original strength, perfect for all Stren
mono lines!
• Run the the end of the line throught the
eye of a hook/lure twice;
• Loop around the standing part of the line
5 or 6 times;
• Thread the tag end back between the eye
and the coils as shown;
• Lubricate and pull down tight, then trim
the tag end.
Triple
Palomar knot
One of the strongest knots, we recommend
the above for superlines with a breaking
strain of less than 10lbs
• Double about 4 inches of line;
• Tie a triple overhand knot in the doubled
lines;
• Pass the loop over the hook;
• Gently gather the coils;
• Lubricate, pull tight, and trim the tags.
