"Lagan takes us back to a time when boys played
baseball before and after their chores."
Paul Lagan, author of “The Amazing Journey of the Kickapoo
Kids”, visited Potosi High School on Thursday, November

School team in 1952-53. Former longtime Platteville High
School baseball coach Larry McGinley, another member of the
Gays Mills team, was also on hand to help with the
presentation. Staff members also took part in a “Throwback to the

The Bottom Line
by Ron Saari (11-5-15)
Thank you for your Support!
On behalf of the Potosi School District, we would like to thank our community for its support of
our recent Facility Project Referendum. Our community provided overwhelming support with
an 84% approval rate, the highest supported referendum on record in the State of Wisconsin.
This support means a lot to our School and for our student’s education. We especially appreciate
our community’s input as we went about creating a plan to address the needs of our aging school
building. We look forward to continued community input as our project moves forward.
