Light Tunnel SLT
The SLT light tunnel is a relatively new product in Fakro’s range,
having been designed to supply dark or windowless interiors with
natural light. The installation of light tunnels makes it possible to
illuminate any room in a building, even the basement. Interiors which
would otherwise rely on artificial lighting need no longer provide an
endless drain on electricity, while the natural light provided by the
SLT light tunnel transforms interiors and enhances user comfort. Light
captured by the SLT’s roof dome is conveyed to a ceiling diffuser by
means of flexible, mirror-faced ducting. The ceiling diffuser is
unobtrusive and so two or more may be used in larger rooms or
corridors to provide even illumination. The light tunnel may also be
used at night, through use of an electric light kit.

Aluminium clad, PVC roof windows are ideal for installation in
loft rooms where humidity levels may be high e.g. bathrooms and
kitchens. They are also suitable for customers wishing to have a
white and easy to keep clean frame.
The PTP is a pivot type window made of white, multi-chamber
PVC-U profile strengthened with galvanised steel. Such
construction ensures exceptional dimensional stability and
prevents frame distortion.
The roof window is durable, corrosion-free and resistant to
extremes of weather so maintenance is reduced to an
absolute minimum. The PVC does not absorb moisture and
is resistant to acid and most air pollutants.

Fakro Loft Ladders consist of three or four folding
sections and are made of the same slow, growing,
close-grain redwood pine as that used for Fakro
roof windows.
Ladder treads are fitted using dovetail joints for
added durability with each tread having safety
grooves cut into it to prevent slipping.
Once installed, the adjustable door opening
mechanism is designed to provide the maximum
available room for access to the loft. Springs can
also be adjusted to optimize free movement of the
hatch when opening and closing.
