Pathways </> CAREERS Job Opportunities Summer Programs Exploration: Special Events POST COLLEGE Scholarship COLLEGE HIGH SCHOOL MIDDLE SCHOOL Internship Mentorship Counseling Career Services Work-based Learning McClymonds High School S.T.E.A.M. Pathways McClymonds High School students will create a personalized STEAM pathway to actively contribute and advocate for their local communities. McClymonds and its partners will use self-discovery, responsibility, accountability, and commitment to build a network of empowered graduates that make positive change through college and career readiness. Students will demonstrate completion of A-G requirements, community service, service learning, and student voice, ultimately elevating West Oakland. “We know that if a subject interests a student, education happens,” said Barbara McAllister, Director of Intel’s Diversity in Technology Fund. “It’s our job to make technology interesting. We believe hands-on, project-based learning in the classroom and exposure to Intel role models and mentors will make a huge difference.” MCCLYMONDS ENGINEERING PATHWAY 10th Grade - Introduction to Engineering and Design 11th Grade - Principles of Engineering 12th Grade - Civil Engineering and Architecture HOW TO ENROLL Students must enroll by spring of 9th grade.
