NGSS: PS1-1, PS1-2, PS1-3, PS2-1, PS4-1, ETS1-1, STS1-2, ETS1-3 The World Around Us – Natural and earth sciences come to life in a wide range of interactive and multimedia activities. Explore the three major ecological galleries: Atmosphere- The Air That Surrounds Us, Terrasphere -Environments That Support Us, and Aquasphere- The Water That Sustains Us, to discover concepts such as ecology and ecosystems, biological diversity, matter and energy in organisms and ecosystems, and natural selection and adaptation. NGSS: LS1-1, LS2-2 The World Within Us – Learn more about how our body works through hands-on exhibits that will give your students a new appreciation for the parts most people take for granted. Explore how healthy and unhealthy lifestyle choices affect your body. The World Within Us is an in-depth exploration of our life cycle and how we, as organisms, us matter and energy, process biological information, grow, develop, adapt, and age. This exhibit features Amazing Beginnings. In a reverent, awe-inspiring display, eight human embryos and fetuses show how humans develop from two autonomous cells.
