A relaxed and friendly hotel set on the beautiful
Campus beach with its fine white sand and
crystal clear waters. Built in the shape of an
amphitheatre, the hotel makes the most of its
sea, garden and mountain views and the rooms
are comfortably furnished with private balcony
or terrace. The Cormoran is also one of the few
hotels which can provide self-catering, having
apartments and bungalows located within its
spacious grounds.
You’ll find a good choice of dining options.
From the main restaurant there is a sumptuous
selection of traditional and European cuisine,
served by welcoming and attentive staff. Hot and
cold snacks and lunches are also available from
the hotel’s poolside restaurant and special dinners
are served twice weekly from the beach bar grill
(supplements apply). A piano bar overlooks the
main swimming pool and is open for cocktails, with
live music providing the perfect accompaniment
while watching the sun go down. On the beach
there is a diving centre and several water sports
readily available and the hotel operates children’s
clubs for younger children and teenagers. You can
also take a boat from the beach to the tiny island
of Cavoli, part of a protected marine area – a great
location for diving or snorkelling where numerous
species of fish thrive in the intense blue waters.
The nearby town of Villasimius is just a 4km drive
away with an attractive array of shops, bars,
restaurants and a lively piazza. Being right on the
beach with good facilities and a variety of sports
and activities to hand, this is a great choice for
both families and couples.
