It was a five hour drive down l-75 to the Florida Turnpike that goes straight to
Miami, an easy trip. We pulled up to Tradewinds Apartment Hotel. This two story
Art Deco building is all white, set off by beautiful teak furniture and lush tropical
plants. As soon
as
you walk through
the door you see the
trendy,
ultra-modern interior design.
We met Susan, Joan and Omar,
the front desk staff.
EverY
time we had a question theY
knew the answer and were very
helpful and also bilingual in English
and Spanish. The staff at a hotel can make
all the difference to your stay.

Having an apartment is the best way to visit any destination. Tradewinds has 60
apartments, you can choose from a studio, one bedroom or two bedroom flats. You
will find huge rooms, large kitchens and tons of
closet space. The apartment reminded me
of the metro London look onlY with
a lot more space. Large flat screen
TVt in every room,
sound
system for your iPod and dark
granite counters with stainless
steel appliances.
The hotel has several
blocks
of apartments.all tied together by
intimate courtyards that are beautifully
landscaped and sprinkled with comfortable outdoor
sitting areas.
The pool overlooks a canal and has the look of a swim fashion shoot backdrop with
its cobalt blue over stuffed cushions on its lounge chairs and fuchsia pink outdoor
rugs. The guests are
just as trendy as the furniture, the Miami ballet company call
Tradewinds home.

rants that are dotted around
the area and all have their own

Guests are able
hotel chains

use the
complimentarY
shuttle service to get from one
property to another. The drivers are
very helpful and know the area well.
There is no need for you to drive' You can also
rent one of the hotels bikes for free!
The beach is one block from the hotel and a large supermarket is just a couple of
blocks away.
