In those early days, MV Isle of Arran was considered to be ahead of her time due to her No Smokin lounge - a novel feature in the 1980s. The MV Isle of Arran was the first roll-on, roll-off vessel in the CalMac fleet. With her distinctive viewing area below the bridge, MV Isle of Arran has a graceful, streamlined look about her - yet she’s powerful too. With capacity for up to 659 passengers and 62 cars, the 85 metre long MV Isle of Arran is capable of sailing at a speed of 15 knots.
