Dear Colleagues,
It gives me great pleasure to announce that the 15th Asian Association of Endocrine Surgeons
(AsAES 2016) will be held in Seoul, Korea from 7th-9th April, 2016. On behalf of the committee
and all members of Asian Association of Endocrine Surgeons (AsAES), I would like to express
my sincere respect to all of our past presidents and committee members. Since it was established in 1986, AsianAES has grown rapidly and now it is one of the leading
medical societies in Asia. AsianAES has dedicated itself for improving domestic research and treatment. At the 14
conferences so far, we were able to share our discoveries and achievements with the entire world beyond Asia.
Through our upcoming conference, I hope that we can share fruitful developments and achievements with each
other. It is planned to provide both opportunities - scientific exchange and strong networking for the participating
surgeons. I am also sure that AsAES 2016 will provide a platform of education for young trainees.
And we will try to help our new member countries can take part.
Lastly, I extend my sincere thanks to all organizing committee members for their hard work and efforts for making
a successful AsAES 2016. I wish that this will be a beneficial and unforgettable experience for all attendees. The
April of Korea is fantastic spring weather. Seoul which has the future with dynamic developments and the past with
cultures and traditions will give you good memories.

Asian Association of Endocrine Surgeons
The Asian Association of Endocrine Surgeons (AsAES) was established in 1986. It is a regional organization aiming at
promoting the exchange of knowledge and advancements in endocrine surgery. The first Congress was held in Tokyo,
Japan, in 1988. The Asian Association of Endocrine Surgeons was established to help train specialist endocrine surgeons
in both Asian and Western countries.
