directed by Quentin Tarantino, who co-wrote its
screenplay with Roger Avary. The film is known
for its rich, eclectic dialogue, ironic mix of
humour and violence, nonlinear storyline, and

Night of the Living Dead 8pm
1968 cult film directed by George Romero. Night of
the Living Dead was heavily criticized during its
release because of its explicit content. However, it
eventually received critical acclaim and was
selected by the Library of Congress for
preservation in the National Film Registry as a film
deemed "culturally, historically or aesthetically
significant."
