board next to the main door.
Our club events need help to ensure we will continue them next year. Be sure to

Shooting Lines/Times
Saturday: 10:00 am, 12:00 pm, and 2:00 pm
Sunday: 10:00 am and 12:00 pm
This shoot consists of two “Vegas 300” rounds back-to-back for a total of 600
points possible. Non-NFAA members and guests are welcome to come shoot
the invitational for $10.

I would like to extend my thanks for all those members who took their time to be on the
DATUS Board of Directors during 2012. All members did a great job addressing the
clubs needs and providing superior leadership for all DATUS members. Some of the
accomplishments completed during 2012 were: new heater for the upstairs area, new
soffets for the building, lights on the sign in the front of the building, the purchase of a
new enclosed trailer to help support our outdoor shoots, and the new targets for the
indoor range which will get us through 2013. Since the 2012 DATUS outdoor shoots
were not as well attended as in the past, and the member volunteer help was not what we
needed, DATUS is forced to reduce the 2013 outdoor shoots. In 2013 DATUS will only
be hosting one Invitational Golf Shoot and the annual State Golf Shoot. The second
Invitational Golf Shoot and the Eagle Mountain 3D Shoot will not be held in 2013.
Financially the club finished 2012 with money left in savings which will help assist with
some needed items for the club. If any of you have suggestions to make our club better
please contact myself or any DATUS Board Member with your suggestions.
Most of the leagues have started, our 3D Animal league held on Tuesday nights will start
on December 11th at 7pm. Please show up on Tuesday December 11th if you are
interested in shooting the 3D Animal league. I have also posted the sign up sheet on the
bulletin board for all 2013 club activities, please sign up for at least one event to support
your club.
The Board will have their regularly scheduled meetings on the first Monday of each
month. The general meetings will be held in February, April (Get Acquainted Party), July
(DATUS campout), September, and November (Awards and Election Party). I would like
to encourage all members to attend one general meeting during the 2013 year.
Thank you all for your continued support. As we approach 2013, please note that I am
dedicated in providing the highest level of support and leadership necessary to
accommodate all members of DATUS. I will do my best to accomplish the tasks I have
been assigned while making it a fun year for all families. If you have any comments

Message from the 2012 DATUS Board of Directors: Better Late than never.
On behalf of the DATUS Board of Directors we would like to thank all Club Members and non- members
who participated in our Two Golf Invitational, State Golf and 3-D shoot’s held at Eagle Mountain. Also
thank you to club members who donated prizes for these shoots. Especially those members who signed
up to help set up courses, run registration and snack bar.
In addition we would like to give a very special Thank You! To the following business that supported our
Shoot’s with some Great Prize Donations and ask that our members in return support them with your
business.

The drawing held at the Eagle Mountain 3-D Shoot awarded the 1st Place Grand Prize a Carbon Tech
Pursuit Bow, donated by Salt Lake Archery. To an 11 year old Girl from Battle Mountain Nevada named
Anna Configliacco. Anna was in the area visiting her Grandpa who brought her to the 3-D Shoot. Anna
was a very happy Girl when she was notified of her Prize.
