This event is one of the highlight events on Anne Griffin – Year 9 our College calendar. The dinner is for Dads and Jack Kamper – Year 9 daughters (Grade 6-Year 12) at HCC. The event Kelsey Jeeves – Year 10 includes a delicious 3 course meal, activities, Tate Adams – Year 10 special guest dad and daughter speakers as Joshua Ratten – Year 10 well as a special photo of each dad with their daughter. After this date the price is $25/person. YEAR 8 INDONESIAN COOKING CLASS The Year 8 Indonesian class was given an Indonesian cooking lesson by HCC PFA President, Mrs Naomi Boss. Students cooked a variety of dishes such as chicken curry, parcels and fried rice, steamed spinach fish with Sambal sauce. Things started to heat up as handfuls of chillies were thrown into the pots create the Af ter the and pans aromatic to tastes. c ook ing was completed, the students sat down to a feast of different flavours that they had never tried before. Everyone learnt and discovered new foods they hadn't heard of before, and each received a recipe book and some food to take home. A special thanks to Naomi Boss who taught and helped the students as they became Indonesian Masterchefs. MORE BOOKS HAVE ARRIVED! PASTORS/MINISTERS BREAKFAST On Thursday 10 September at 8.00 am we will be hosting a special breakfast for the Pastors and Ministers of the more than 50 different churches that families at Heatherton Christian College attend. The purpose of the breakfast is to let the pastors/ministers know more about HCC and to give them a tour of the school. Many of them would not have been here before. We have prepared a special invitation for students to give to their pastors/ministers to invite them to the breakfast. Invitations may be collected from the College office. Mr Nowell Arbraham and the hospitality students will cook and serve a delicious hot breakfast for our guests in the Salt Café.
