Mondolfo Ferro, a member of the Nexion Group, was founded in 1963, and made its first foray into the
automotive service tool segment with one of the first ever electromechanical tyre changers with a cast iron
structure, which the company patented in the late 1960s.
The constructive quality of the product and the expertise of its management team have made Mondolfo
Ferro highly regarded in national and international markets. Towards the end of the 1970s, Mondolfo Ferro
began to extend its production activities into new area: it was one of the first companies to produce a
tyre changer for trucks, and in the early 80’s, it added fork lifts for wheel alignment and wheel balancers.
Mondolfo Ferro introduced its wheel aligner in the late 1980s, while in the early 1990s it broadened its
product range again, this time catering for the mechanical workshop segment.
Today, Mondolfo Ferro offers a comprehensive range of products for every possible application:
from car tyre changers to tyre changes for trucks, buses and earth moving vehicles, to car and truck wheel
balancers, up to 2 and 4 column fork lifts for underbody and under-wheel for mechanical workshops,
wheel aligners and finally the testing line for Servicing Centres.
Mondolfo Ferro today has four production plants in the Marche, Tuscany and Emilia Romagna
regions, which provide jobs for approximately 130 employees, and exports its products to over 70
countries worldwide.

The AS 944 LL is a super-automated tyre changer equipped with an exclusive system that allows
the operator to mount and demount any type of tyre completely effortlessly and without using tyre
levers. Solid and sturdy, it is especially suitable for intensive use. Built with superior quality components
and subjected to severe tests, this machine is extremely reliable, for maintenance costs reduced to a minimum.
AS 944 LL is available on request with two rotation speeds (6.5-15 rpm) and with a tubeless tyre inflation
system. It can also be equipped with the Super RM device, as well as the approved kit for mounting and
demounting Michelin, Pirelli, Goodyear e Dunlop Pax System wheels.
TRIGON 4 VISION: THE WHEEL ALIGNER with DIGITAL CAMERAS
TRIGON 4 Vision is a new passive target wheel aligner with 8 high resolution digital cameras for maximum measurement precision. The automation of the wheel alignment operations and the extreme reliability of the components greatly enhance productivity. The compact size and the advanced technology of
the cameras make them ideal for installation in small spaces and use with 4 post lifts. The cameras rotate
automatically to ensure that they are always correctly aligned, maximising ease of use and work speed.
The targets are made from high strength materials and feature an additional sun screen, making them
ideal for use even in difficult ambient conditions. Does not require calibration.
TRIGON 4 Vision also incorporates the Cal One-Touch steering wheel rotation sensor calibration system.
This calibration is necessary after the wheel alignment process for all vehicles with ESP and other safety
systems. Integrating this function both facilitates calibration and reduces work times.
Mondolfo Ferro also offers the new “Assetto OnLine” web-based service, which allows real time access to
a database of constantly updated alignment specifications.

“EVO” WHEEL BALANCER range
MT3700 Evo embodies all the hallmark attributes of sturdiness and reliability associated with Mondolfo
Ferro products, which, combined with latest generation software, have given rise to an extremely versatile machine that is immediately approachable and user friendly.
The geometric measurements of the wheel as well as imbalance values and positions are clearly displayed
with attractive, immediately legible and intuitive graphics on the large LCD screen, whereas all the programmes (Alu and Easy-Alu, Hidden Weight, optimisation and multiple operators) are accessed and controlled directly from the ergonomic keypad beneath the monitor.
MT3700 Evo was designed to work with vehicle wheels up to a maximum diameter of 44” and, in combination with specific accessories, also with off-road vehicles, vans, motorcycles and closed rims.
The internal sensor is digital and therefore does not require any periodic calibration, whereas available
upon request, and highly recommended, is an external sensor for the acquisition of the rim width, and
also available upon request for the machine is a large and comfortable side console for the protected housing of flanges and accessories, it also significantly enlarges the already large weight tray.
On the EC (Electronic Clamp) version, the wheel is clamped rapidly by electrically actuated spheres, for
maximum precision and completely effortless operation.
The ROT version of the MT 3700 Evo also features a radial run-out measurement function and a device
for measuring lateral run-out. These important machine functions are used to minimise vibrations attributable to geometrically incorrect tyre-rim assembly. Note that these vibrations may persist even with a
precisely balanced wheel.
The MT3400 Evo has the same characteristics of the MT3700 Evo, but uses a backlit LCD display as
an interface, with modern and extremely intuitive graphics which, together with the ergonomic keypad integrated into the panel, ensure immediate and easy access to and control of all the programmes available.
NEW VEHICLE LIFTS 2010
With the addition of the new Nexion group production plant dedicated to the construction of vehicle lifts,
Mondolfo Ferro has been able to extend its range of vehicle lifts and establish a leadership in this market.
All products are engineered, certified (CE) and constructed in the company’s Italian plants.
This new range of lifts, which joins the company’s existing and established range, includes a
variety of different two and four-post underwheel and underbody lifts, with capacities
from 3 to 6 tonnes.
