FORMATION OF THE VILLAGE OF GIROUXVILLE
Whereas, the undersigned being satisfied that all requirements with
regard to the erection of a village under the provisions of The Town and
Village Act being chapter 150 of the Revised Statutes of Alberta, 1942,
complied with, it is hereby ordered that the area
described hereunder, namely:The Station Grounds and right-of-way of the Northern Alberta
Railways lying in the south-east quarter of section 16, township 78,
range 22, west of the fifth meridian and that part of the south-west
quarter of section 15, township 78, range 22, west of the fifth meridian

the above
property to a line produced by an extension northerly of the easterly
limit of registered Plan No. 792 H.W.
Parts of the south-east quarter of section 16, township 78, range,
22, west of the fifth meridian as shown on registered Plans 1047 H.W.,
5098 E.T., 6710 E.T., 5126 E.O., 1045 H.W. and 6896 E.T.
Parts of the south-west quarter of section 15, township 78, range
22, west of the fifth meridian as shown on registered Plans 1312 H.W.,
6981 E.T., 5090 E.O., 792 H.W. and Certificate of Titles 27-T-130 and
168-V-80.

Parts of the north-east quarter of section 9, township 78, range
22, west of the fifth meridian as shown on registered Plan 1320 H.W.

No. 130, and ,erected into a village to be known as the Village of
Girouxville.

It is further ordered that a nomination
for the first election
of a council shall be held between
hours of eleven o'clock in the
forenoon and twelve o'clock noon on Monday, being the 1 4 t h day of
January, 1952, for the purpose of receiving names
candidates for the
office of councillors.

shall be Monday being the 28th day of January, 1952, and that the
