Castleford Tigers Clinch Major New Sponsorship Deal
Castleford Tigers Clinch
Major New Sponsorship Deal
with PROBIZ
Castleford Tigers has announced a significant new club partnership and shirt
sponsorship deal with PROBIZ for the 2011 season.
Feisal Nahaboo
PROBIZ Founder
PROBIZ, a leading tax specialist helping
UK businesses and individuals to maximise
wealth creation opportunities through tax
planning and investment opportunities,
will feature prominently on the Tigers’
home and away shirts as well as on club’s
Reserve, Under 18’s and Scholarship shirts.
“This significant deal is clear evidence that
Castleford Tigers has appealed to a leading
wealth creation specialist.
As part of the agreement PROBIZ will also have a
branding presence within the stadium including
rooflines, perimeter advertising, home and away
dug outs, the tunnel area, scoreboard as well as
use of a hospitality box.
“PROBIZ has identified the benefits of being
associated with The Tigers as we embark on
a new, exciting era at our new state of the art
stadium.
The club will help PROBIZ achieve maximum
media exposure through all their live Sky
broadcasted matches. Three of the first five
fixtures will be featured on Sky TV with two of
those matches at home.
The initial one year deal, with an option to extend
the agreement, sees PROBIZ replace Metrel who
was previously unveiled as shirt sponsor for the
forthcoming season.
Metrel has stepped aside as main shirt sponsor
in light of the substantial deal put forward by
PROBIZ that the club simply couldn’t turn down.
The announcement of a replacement shirt
sponsor follows recent significant progress
in the club’s quest to build a new stadium
at Glasshoughton and comes as it strives to
increase its commercial revenue streams to fund
its construction; due to commence early next
year.
Craig Poskitt, Head of Commercial Sales of
Castleford Tigers said, “We are delighted to
announce this partnership with PROBIZ as our
shirt sponsor for the 2011 season.
“PROBIZ is well backed and a company that
has shown long-term support with its large
sponsorship portfolio. We believe PROBIZ’s
sponsorship can assist with our plans.
“Castleford Tigers’ future ambitions mirror our
own. We are looking forward to building our
association with the club and being part of its
success within Super League.”
These Rugby League deals see PROBIZ extend
their sport sponsorship presence which
compliments their existing association with
Premier League outfit West Bromwich Albion
as the Official partner for all tax and property
investment solutions.
“We have already had preliminary talks about
the naming rights of our new facility that may be
called The PROBIZ Stadium.”
Feisal Nahaboo has today announced his plans
to invest in both Cricket and Tennis with an array
of current and former England Test players set to
become ambassadors of his newly formed Sports
Empire.
Feisal Nahaboo, Founder and Managing Director
of PROBIZ added:
Richard Wright, Chief Executive of Castleford
Tigers concluded:
“We are really looking forward to next season and “PROBIZ is making statements across sport. It

“We wish to contribute to the future of the club
and the sport. PROBIZ strives on both corporate
and personal achievement and the club; players
and officials have our support as we enter the
Super League for the first time.
“Castleford can challenge leading sides such as

extends outside the Super League as we have
invested significantly with Championship side
Halifax RLFC.
