be precisely adjusted in seconds. As a result slip stitches are
virtually eliminated – with all types of material and with any
change in material.

Patented looper tracking.
Automatic, accurate, unique.
Advanced technology used for a particularly clear stitch pattern: where
other manufacturers use thick needles to prevent deviations during the
puncture of the fabric, Mammut has been working for over 30 years with
patented looper tracking technology. It compensates for needle deflections
and always positions the loopers exactly to the upper thread loops.
Your advantage: very thin needles and maximum sewing speed. For highest
sewing performance and perfection, even in knitwear and jerseys.

Patented quick change of needles and loopers*
No adjustments. Simple, fast, accurate.
With a single handle in the sewing position: the snap closure on the needle bar makes
needle and looper switching faster and easier than ever. The sewing position is ready
to use – without tools and without any further adjustments.

Another advantage of the Mammut VMK: the trough
infeed for the upper material with motor-driven roller
system permits controlled longitudinal and lateral
tension, even when reversing. A bulky compensating
roller is therefore unnecessary. The result: the fabric
remains easily accessible up to the needle area.

Looking for automatic quilting and the ability to quickly
change between different patterns in a large sample pool?
With the CNC control system of the Mammut VMK, it’s not
a problem. The electrical and mechanical components that
are used are always test proven to be on the cutting edge
of technology.
The CNC control system with integrated sequencing is
equipped with Microsoft Windows® and a large colour
screen. The control system’s convenient interface includes
a touch screen, along with a mouse and keyboard. The
quilting patterns are simply loaded from an external PC.
USB and TCP/IP ports are available. Implementation is
made possible by highly dynamic servo drives used for
positioning tasks, frequency-converter drives for speed
variations and energy-efficient compact drives.
