"We have been self-catering for many years this is the best we have stayed in, so well equipped with everything. A beautiful barn conversion in such lovely
surroundings and so peaceful. We loved the bedroom furniture and the clippie rug in the hallway. "

The cottage has two double bedrooms (one with an ensuite), one twin room and an additional single bed making this cottage suitable for seven people. There is
full central heating and additional heating from a log effect gas stove in the sitting room. The lounge has colour TV, DVD, CD player and radio and FREE Wi-Fi is
available. The rest of the accommodation comprises a family bathroom and a fitted kitchen with a dining area. To the outside of the cottage is a pretty garden
with outdoor furniture and plenty of off road parking. All fuel and power, bed linen and towels are included in rent. A cot and highchair are available. We prefer
non smokers and sorry, no pets. LOCATION In the heart of beautiful Teesdale and close to the village of Middleton is the small hamlet of Mickleton. This
charming little settlement is composed primarily of a single street with a cluster of stone houses surrounding it. The village offers a post office, village shop and
two pubs. A short drive away, the market town of Barnard Castle is able to provide all that Mickleton can not and makes for a fascinating location for a day trip.
There are excellent walking and cycling opportunities in the area and those wishing to take advantage of the beautiful scenery can enjoy walks on The Pennine
and Teesdale Ways, taking in the sights of The River Tees and magnificent waterfalls at High Force all close by. 2014 Tour de France Route is only 45 minutes
away by car.
