Greetings and Happy Fall! As a reminder Daylight Savings Time is
November 1st so please set back your clocks one hour if you have not
already done so.
I’ve received many comments from new residents that they feel very
welcomed by other residents and staff. Thank you to everyone for
showing folks such kindness and making them feel at home.
This is the time of year that we hire an outside company to provide
surveys to all residents and staff. The goal is to find out what we are
doing really well at and what opportunities for improvement there are.
These surveys are confidential and get mailed back to the company that
then compiles them for us and gives us the results. Thank you in advance
for completing these and mailing them back in. Our goal here at Appleton
Retirement Community is to enrich the lives of our residents.
Thank you for the opportunity to serve you and or your family members.

Dr. Ben Reineking, our visiting chiropractor holds a bi-monthly session open

Hearing Aid Inspection and Cleaning

Mary Mayr from Miracle Ear will be happy
to inspect and clean your hearing aids free
of charge. Basic hearing screenings are also
available without cost.

Walker Wheelchair Cleaning
The next scheduled cleaning for walkers
and wheelchairs will be Tuesday, December
1st. There will be seating available for
residents outside of the beauty shop in the
lower level. Sign up in the in-house book.

Tears Support Group
Brad and Lisa from Southern Care Hospice
will be here to lead the grief support group
on Tuesday, November 10th at 3:30 in the
2nd floor lounge. This group is for anyone
that has ever suffered a loss and is a great
opportunity to make some new friends that
can offer you support.
Foot Care
Valley VNA Nurse Joy, will be here
to trim toenails Monday, November
9th in the am and Monday,
November 23rd in the pm.
Be sure to sign up in the
in-house book. Cost is $23.00.

piano music and hymns—all are welcome.
