CUBA
We have all heard much news concerning the renewed
relations between the United States and Cuba. Our prayers
are that this nation will embrace the Gospel of Jesus Christ
and we will witness a great revival in this nation.
The Evangel Missions Department has taken six mission trips
to Cuba since 2007. During this time we have ministered to
thousands of people in numerous churches. We were invited
by the bishop of the fastest growing church in Cuba (the
Methodist Church) to travel with him in revival meetings in April
of next year. This is a tremendous honor as during the past
12 years, his churches
have grown from 60
congregations to over
400. What occurred?
He opened the Methodist
Church to the gifts of the
Holy Spirit and it revolutionized the churches.
We are bringing both a ministry team and a singing group to
help evangelize this nation.
Several years ago I invited those interested in praying for
Cuba to come down to the boardwalk area by the Havana
Harbor to pray. This is the busiest area of Cuba and thought
we should intercede at this location. I was astounded to see
about 100 people arriving
with guitars in hand and
ready to minister. Of course,
this was not allowed as
the country is very strict
about open meetings of
this nature. However, we
did minister publicly, and it
was a profound experience.
One journalist told me that he had never seen or heard of
what we just did. I believe it opened a “portal” of heaven, and
now it is common to see these street meetings. I believe we
were the first to unlock this door.

Healing Room Ministr y
The first Wednesday of June 2015, my husbad and I attended
the Healing Service. Pastor Nancy and Pastor Sharese were
there including people I had met during healing services
at Minors Lane. She asked him if he had problems with his
lungs. He certainly did not tell her this. I was shocked and yet
amazed. Al spent 10 days in the hospital in February 2015
(this was not the first time, it also had happened 25 years
ago). Al had surgery in February; however, the doctor warned
him that it could happen again.
They prayed that his lungs would be healed. I shouted for
joy because I knew Al was healed. I knew God had revealed
this to her. The next day Al mowed the front yard. He had
not felt like doing this. He was not tired or short of breath. -Vicky Taube

ROC IS GROWING. Your prayers and
volunteer support is appreciated. We
averaged 210 for a recent 4 week period,
and see weekly 20-50 come to the Lord.
We’ve seen 500+ saved, 3,000 fed and
30,000 pounds of good given away. Lives
of the homeless, large groups of youth,
families with children are being changed
in His presence in the rear parking lot of
Wayside’s Hotel Louisville.
We are in need of two areas:
1.Ministry event: key leader volunteers,
approx 12 x 12 tents;
2.For the people: personal hygiene
items, any sturdy bags for people
to carry their belongings and baby
toddler equipment.

A new ministry opportunity is now
available for you! Our new Home
Repairs Ministry (HRM) seeks to
serve those in our church family
who may have a Home Repair
need but are unable to take care
of it themselves.
These may be widows, elderly, single parents, or others who
simply do not have the physical ability or financial means to
address much-needed repairs in their home.
We need you to help us serve these folks in our community,
and absolutely anyone can volunteer to participate in this new
ministry program. Whether you are a regular DIY expert or
if you have no experience whatsoever at fixing stuff, there is
a place for you to help.
Most importantly, together we will be sharing the love of Jesus
in a practical way, and we will be a light for Jesus to our

This is the retreat that you have been waiting for! This will
be a time of transparent transformation through the power of
the Holy Spirit. We will Get Real with Integrity, with Relationships, as well as with our Dreams and Goals. We will take a
Reality Check about our relationship with the Lord and ignite
a desire for more of Him in our lives. Most importantly; our
