on the following pages for proper assembly and safe use of this product. If you are missing parts or if there are damaged

WARNING - to avoid risk of falling:
• WEIGHT LIMIT 250 LBS.
• Swingasan is intended to be used by one person at a time.
• Chair and stand must be used with all provided parts. Ensure that all parts are installed according to instructions
and inspected for damage before use.
• Chair must be used with provided nylon strap attached to loop and chain as shown in Step 2.1.
• Ensure that all bolts and hardware are securely tightened and installed before use.
• Always inspect your chair, hardware, and stand (if applicable) for damage
before use.
• Never place infants or pets in the chair.
• Never allow young children to use chair without adult supervision.
• Do not jump, stand, or twist in chair.
• Chair and stand are designed for minimal swing motion. Use care when getting
in and out of chair. If using stand, ensure that chair is facing forward and do not
cause chair to swing outside base area of stand, as shown to the right.
• Stand must be used with covered bungee cord, as shown in Step 2.3.
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
• Hardware to hang chair on an anchor or mount other than the Swingasan stand is not provided. If chair is used
without Swingasan stand, consult a professional for installation and anchor hardware requirements.
• Note drawbar spring and nylon strap must be used for ALL chair assembly with or without Swingasan stand.
• Ensure that all hardware is securely fastened before use. Check and tighten all hardware periodically throughout use
of the product. Do not use if hardware is missing or damaged.
• The stand has a powder coated outdoor finish on the metal parts. However, over time and use, scratches may
develop on the metal surfaces. To avoid excessive rust, wipe these areas as necessary to remove moisture.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS - INSTALLING YOUR SWINGASAN CHAIR
If mounting or hanging without stand, seek professional installation. Drawbar spring and nylon strap are required to be
used with or without Swingasan stand.

NOTE: IF YOU HAVE PURCHASED BOTH (CHAIR AND
STAND), YOU WILL RECEIVE (2) DRAWBAR SPRINGS
WITH CARABINERS (Part G). ONLY ONE WILL BE
REQUIRED FOR ASSEMBLY.
STEP 2
2.1.) To install nylon strap (H) to hanging loop.
a. Insert the straps through the chain link that provides
the tightest fit. (Note this could be the second or
third link.)
2.2.) Install drawbar spring (G) using provided carabiners
as shown. Ensure that the carabiners are securely
fastened before use, and that the lowest part of the
chair is not higher than 14" to 17" from the ground.
Height from the ground may vary depending on model
of chair.

b. Pull strap ends to the front of main chair frame, then
wrap and tuck through the chair weave until they are
behind the loop. Ensure that nylon strap is inserted
through chain link and wrapped around chair frame.

If Swingasan stand is already assembled, or if you are mounting or hanging chair to another location, GO TO STEP 2.

2.3.) Wrap covered bungee cord (F) around stand pole
and affix to each side of the back of the chair as shown.
Ensure that the clips are securely fastened before use.
The location to affix the covered bungee may vary
slightly depending on model of chair. (See examples
below of other styles). Not applicable if mounting or
hanging without stand.
STEP 1
1.1.) Slide curved stand pole into the base.
1.2.) Align holes and insert hex bolts (C) and washers (B) into the
corresponding holes and tighten nut (A) with nut wrench (D).

c. Pull the strap ends around the hanging loop and affix
together using provided thumb screw (I), washers
(J), and wingnut (K) through the chair's hanging
loop.

1.3.) Insert pin (E) through hole at the top of
the stand.
d. Tighten wingnut (K) by hand. Wingnut and washers
will lock into place.
e. After installation ensure the strap fits tightly around
the chair/loop.
2.4.) Check and tighten all bolts and hardware periodically
throughout use of the product. Do not use if bolts or
hardware are missing or damaged.

Proceed with Step 2.

f. Chair is now ready to hang.
g. Inspect strap regularly to ensure that screw and
wingnut are secure.
