TruVoice™ Competitors Installation and Setup
Introduction
TruVoice Competitors is a Salesforce.com integration application intended for current customers of
both Primary Intelligence and Salesforce.com. TruVoice Competitors instantaneously sends your win
loss buyer intelligence to your Salesforce.com account.
TruVoice Competitors shares buyers’ outlook of your competition in Salesforce. Gain insight into your
competition’s price position, performance in key decision drivers, and common strengths and weaknesses, all from the perspective of your buyers.
Installation Time
Please allow 15 – 30 minutes for your installation.
What You Need
Prior to the installation, please ensure you have the following:
• Salesforce.com Professional, Enterprise, Unlimited, or Developer edition
• Salesforce.com administrative privileges
• License key from Primary Intelligence
Installation Overview
Installing TruVoice Competitors includes the following stages:
Stage 1: Downloading the Package
Stage 2: Placing the Competitors tab on the Navigation Bar
Stage 3: Adding the License Key and Programs

Stage 1: Downloading the Package
1. Locate the package on the AppExchange by
searching for TruVoice Competitors
2. You will be directed to Salesforce.com. If you
are not already logged in, type in your User
Name and Password and click the Login
button
3.Click Continue
4. Review the terms and conditions. Select the
Yes, grant access to these third-party web
sites check-box and click Continue

5. Review the Step 1: Approve Package API
Access page and click Next
6. Select the Grant access to all users option
and click Next
7.Click Install
8. View the Install Complete message
If your installation fails, attempt to install
again. If it continues to fail, contact your
Primary Intelligence Program Consultant.

Stage 2: Placing the Competitors tab on the Navigation Bar
1.Select + on the Salesforce.com navigation
bar to go to the All Tabs page
2. Click the Customize My Tabs button
3. In the Available Tabs box, select the
Competitors option and click the Add
button
4. Move the Competitors tab to where you
want it positioned on the navigation bar by
clicking the Up or Down button
5.Click Save

Stage 3: Adding the License Key and Programs
1.Select + on the Salesforce.com navigation
bar. This will take you to the All Tabs page
2. Select the Competitors Settings tab
3. At the Primary Intelligence License section
in the License box, type in the license key
provided to you by Primary Intelligence and
click the Verify button
If your license key is flagged as invalid,
attempt to type in the key in again. If your
key is still flagged, contact your Primary
Intelligence Program Consultant.
4. At the Programs section in the Available
box, select the programs you would like to
pull information from for this application and
click the Add button to move it over to the
Selected box
5. At the Products section in the Available
box, select the products you would like to
pull information from for this application and
click the Add button to move it over to the
Selected box
6. To remove programs or products, select
the program/product name in the Selected
column and click the Remove button

7. Select your Data Settings and User
Interface Preferences and click Save
Congratulations! You have successfully
installed TruVoice Competitors.
