As part of the Rowley Police
Department’s initiative to help ensure
the safety of the towns senior citizens,
the Rowley Police Department and the
Rowley Senior Center are in the process
of implementing a new voluntary
program called ’Good Morning Rowley’.
The purpose of the program is to provide
a daily wellness check for senior citizens
living alone.
The senior citizen participant calls the
Rowley dispatch Center each morning
between 7 & 9am. If the call is not
received, the dispatcher attempts to
contact the participant by calling their
residence. If there is no answer, an
officer is immediately dispatched to
investigate.
Anyone interested in participating in the
program should contact
Officer Thomas Hills at 978.948.7644.

From the Director’s Corner,
Happy March to All!
We have had some recent snow and cold
temperatures but I was so happy to see
everyone at our February events! The
days are getting longer now and there are
some wonderful things coming up as we
get ready for a change of seasons. March
brings St. Patrick’s Day and Easter to us.
Our annual trip to Indian Head is looking
to be wildly successful and should be fun
for everyone! In addition, we have a
presentation by Heartstrings, shoe fitting
clinic and a day of chair massages with
Gail Dombreski. I hope that each event
will be informative and enjoyable! As
always, my door is open and I welcome
your visits and feedback!
