Caregiver News
Keeping you informed because we care
MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT
Dear Cheerway Caregivers,
This thanksgiving season, I would like to take the time to
thank all of you for your loyalty, diligence, compassion and
cheer! All of you play such an important role in making a difference in the life of the individual or family you serve. I am
grateful for your service to our senior community and I’ve
heard many of our clients express gratitude for you too.
SAVE THE DATE!!
In this season of thanksgiving, let us all continue to make a difference. When
you think of “making a difference”; do you think of ending world hunger and
poverty and war? Although outstanding feats, it seems unrealistic that we
could accomplish such things in our day to day lives. Often in our daily lives,
making a difference means to do something small. But that something “small”
ends up being a “large” expression of care that truly can touch someone’s life
and make an incredible difference.
Take Note of Changed Location:
Cheerway Care Office
I would like to point out a few examples from our Cheerway caregivers.
These caregivers have made a difference in the lives of the clients they serve.
Diana Ssentogo, Effie Gaite and Norma Sumicad have gone above and beyond their regular tasks for caregiving. Diana helped solve a transportation
problem, Effie assisted her client on her day off, and Norma organized a minibirthday celebration for her patient that does not have family.
What would it take for you to make a difference in your client’s day? Today, I
delivered flowers to several clients just to brighten up their day. Their smiles
were huge; their hearts were full. I encourage you to do something “small”
tomorrow and make a “big” difference in the world!
Happy Thanksgiving!
