Wharton Babe Ruth and Wharton County
Junior College will host an open house at
Tiger Field. There will be free hot dogs and
a drink as supplies last. The event will be
from 5 to 6:30 pm Thursday, April 21. The
baseball park is west of Sivells Elementary
and across from the college on Boling
Highway (FM 1301). WCJC’s baseball team
will be playing a double-header that day
against Blinn starting at 3 pm. The second
game will begin at about 5 pm.
