Ø Represented Grupo Bimbo, a Mexican baked goods company, in $2.3 billion syndicated loan to
fund its acquisition of Weston Foods
Ø Represented Tiendas Soriana, a supermarket chain in Mexico, in $440 million bank loan related
to its purchase of stores from Grupo Gigante
Ø Represented BiCapital, a Guatemalan bank holding company, in $150 million syndicated loan to
fund acquisition of a Honduran bank
Ø Represented lenders in $500 million high yield bond issue (Rule 144A/Reg. S) to refinance debt
of cement conglomerate Cemex (deal failed in the market, March 2009)
Ø Represented Mexican affordable homebuilder, Servicios Corporativos Javer, in $30 million high
yield bond issue (Rule 144A/Reg. S)
Ø Represented Pampa Holding, a holding company for power assets, in $80 million syndicated loan
to expand capacity at an Argentine electricity plant
Ø Counseled Mexican airport, Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacífico, in preparation of its annual foreign
private issuer disclosures (Form 20-F) and related matters
Ø In connection with representation of ING in the sale of its Mexican insurance business to AXA,
