Group Head
June -‐ July 2014 Boiler Structure now Rising…
Lifting works for the Boiler Structural Steel started last
July 27, 2014, which marked another milestone for the
project since this was achieved two months ahead of
the Contract Milestone Schedule.
With this development, the EPC is expected to
conduct individual equipment/systems testing earlier
than projected.
To Our Valued Stakeholders,
I am honored and pleased to be the one giving
you this message for this issue of our newsletter.
Another milestone has been achieved once again
for our 1x135MW coal-fired power plant project in
Concepcion, Iloilo. This is the lifting of the boiler
structural steel works, which was accomplished 2
months ahead of schedule.
This is a significant achievement for the project
since this will contribute to the overall timeline of
our construction activities.
This demonstrates the determination of all those
working for this project to ensure that the power
plant will be available in due time.
Aside from our construction activities, we have
also included in this edition of the newsletter other
company efforts that we are working on making
sure that we are covering all facets of our project.
At the end of the day, we remain committed with
our deliverables to our customers and all our
stakeholders, and that is to complete the plant as
scheduled and be able to deliver the needed
power generation capacities by 2016.
Exciting times are ahead all of us as we begin to
see the power plant hastily forming and getting
ready to serve Panay Island and the whole of
Visayas.
