Optional: As an optional accessory, we offer a special blade (LST 163) that not only separates the plies but also cuts the separated cover, i.e. the blade cuts lengthways and vertically. It is used for applications which require the removal of one of the two separated layers (cover or fabric), such as longitudinal splices. esbelt Semiautomatic cutting machine LTU100V7 -working width 1370 mmDesigned to cut the ends of belts for splicing in the form of serrated fingers. This means greater separation of the press plates is required. The nominal separation between the LPBE-600AC press plates is 20 mm. To increase the separation when embossed belts are being spliced that require silicone moulds, the fixed locks have been change to locks that enable the opening length to be set so that the silicone moulds will fit. The heat control and adjustment of the welder LP-9003 in relation to the 30-mm flat tip LP-9013, or the 40-mm LP-9014, can be easily adapted to the specific energy requirements for welding esbelt’s range of extruded belts. The welding clamp LP-9004, aluminium made, gives a strong, reliable joint, ensures that the ends of the belt to weld are correctly aligned. It also enables the holding pressure to be adjusted, according to the dimensions of the belt being welded.
