Our unique Discovered pieces are one-of-a-kind objects of desire found in our global travels, while our small-batch Limited Edition items are rare and unusual pieces from around the world that have been crafted exclusively for us. > the stuff ONE-OF-A-KIND QUILTS We handpick every one of our hand-embroidered Kantha throws, each of which is made from vintage saris. For our newest signature printed shams and duvet covers—many of them made of 100% certified-organic cotton—we found inspiration in everything from elaborate antique trellises, wrought-iron scrolls on Brooklyn brownstones and vintage fabrics unearthed in pattern books and thrift stores. > the stuff Organic, reversible + based on vintage prints. Some pieces—dog pillows, plus horse plates and bookends—lend the home a bit of wit and whimsy, which feels just right as we move ourselves back indoors. Others—horned African beasts in papier-mâché and butterfly-painted plates—add a healthy dose of the wild to our domestic lives. > the stuff HEADS UP We worked with Haiti’s master papier-mâché craftspeople and the nonprofit organization Aid to Artisans to create these wall trophies. And our new collections—including Chester, a reinterpretation of the classic tufted library sofa; and Everett, a comfy mid-century mod-inspired chair and ottoman—definitely take the material in a new direction. Covered in top-grain hides (the best kind), they trade leather’s fuddy-duddy professorial image for a relaxed, clubby look, all in a neutral go-anywhere palette of elephant, nutmeg, chocolate and snow. SAY HI TO CHESTER Let yourself sink into Chester, our laid-back, low-slung, square-armed reboot of the classic tufted library sofa. Cinder; also in chocolate. $349 OUR FALL 2011 COLLABORATIONS If our past design collaborations have taught us one thing, it’s that two heads really are better—not to mention way more fun—than one. Some of our best and brightest products have come out of these super-fruitful partnerships, and now we couldn’t imagine a season without carefully chosen collaborators by our side. With this in mind, we sought out five perfect partners for this season, discovering like-minded creative types everywhere from Brooklyn to Delhi to London. The rugs, pillows, window panels, upholstered furniture and fabrics she created for us perfectly express her relaxed, bohemian style—and, just as we expected, our style, too. We’re quite a pair. Encouraging everyone to be a collector, 20x200 releases two new works a week in various sizes, all starting at $20. UPSTAIRS: 16" x 20" $59 > our collaboration with ABRAHAM + THAKORE Embellished + embroidered pillows by the Indian fashion house 3 No > about After meeting and become fast friends in Delhi, we asked the creative minds behind the avantgarde Indian fashion label Abraham + Thakore—whose work has been exhibited in London’s Victoria & Albert Museum and appeared in the pages of haute couture magazines around the world—to design a trio of pillow covers that shows off its witty, whimsical and wonderful take on classic Indian crafts and tailored details. Case in point: their graphic contemporary blackand-white embroidery, which reimagines tradition to make something entirely new. For that project, she gave new life to vintage plates, reglazing them with graphic and whimsical silhouettes of a variety of animals. And now, she’s applied that brilliant aesthetic to a trio of plates and bowls just for us, emblazoning each with an image of a trusty steed. We’re especially proud to now be reproducing the dog, horse and feather paintings he made just for us. The animals are printed on cotton pillow covers, while the feathers have become framed wall art.
