animated version of Earthsea. LeGuin says no.
1983 - Miyazaki creates Shuna’s Journey
1990 - Tehanu published
~2000 - LeGuin first sees My Neighbor Totoro and becomes
a fan of Miyazaki
2001 - The Other Wind published
2005 - LeGuin agrees to allow Miyazaki to make Earthsea film
2006 - Tales from Earthsea premieres in Japan
