Some of the features of these models:
• A solid mechanical structure that ensures precision. The structure of the
machine is made of stabilized gray iron blended with graphite.
Structural design is symmetrical so that thermal deformation will be minimal. In
the standard version, the machines include an extreme protection system with
ultra-sensitive load sensors for protecting against collisions.
• The built in automatic threading system can handle a large variety of diameters
and wire types, coated or uncoated, with wire diameters ranging from
Ø 0.15 mm to 0.36 mm (Standard).
• Direct control positioning of the X, Y, U, V axes by high precision glass
scales.
• The ONA AF machine, thanks to its Expert Erosion System offers the maximum
productivity, allowing for long machining times without any operator intervention.
• Automatic generation of machining programs: automatic strategy function.
• Made in Europe. Machines manufactured in the ONA central production unit,

incorporates the ONA high power
Easycut generator capable of reaching
the highest cutting speed possible in
wire EDM (500 mm2/minute) while
keeping the accuracy.
The high cutting speed provided by
the Easycut generator can also be used
in skim cuts, making it possible to cut
high precision parts saving a lot of time.

The Easycut power supply avoids
completely the electrolytic corrosion
even for long machining times,
preventing the oxidation, pitting
corrosion and deterioration of the
workpiece surface, without compromising the cutting speed.

CNC ONA-W64:Quick, simple and
automated operation
This is an especially attractive feature
when working with the following
materials:
• Steel and ferrous materials: the
recast layer is very thin in the rough cut,
disappearing completely after two skim
cuts.
• Titanium and aluminium alloys:
reduces anodisation and does not
oxidize the surface of the workpiece,
avoiding its discoloration.
• Tungsten carbide and PCD:
minimises the depletion of the
workpiece binder, preserving the
integrity of the material surface.
The ONA AF model incorporates a new
user- friendly CNC that uses a
windows style display type, which
contributes to important operating
advances and a higher level of
automation.
The ONA-W64 CNC includes an
extensive set of automatic
measurement cycles that simplify the
tasks for completion of the workpiece
in the machine.
One of its key features is the automatic alignment of the machine-axes to the workpieceaxes with automatic rotation of the
program based on the position of the
part on the table.
