Tallulah - Children`s Book Week
Tallulah’s Activity Kit
Inspired by the toe-rific picture book
series from Marilyn Singer and Alexandra Boiger
Tallulah loves ballet.
She’s going to be
a real dancer
someday!
But for now,
she works hard
at every class.
Use the activities
in this fun kit to
help little ones discover
their inner ballerinas!
“This endearing story teaches children the value
of earning something and that the joy of
the journey can be just as sweet as the reward.”
—School Library Journal
“Charming.”
—New York Times Book Review

Pin the Tutu on Tallulah Game
Supplies needed: Scissors • Tape • A bare door or wall • A blindfold
Instructions: Tape the following page, with the image of
Tallulah, to a bare wall. Cut out the tutus below and pass
one to each player. Write each player’s name on her
tutu and add a piece of tape so the tutu will stick
face-up to the wall. One by one, blindfold each
player and have her do three pirouettes.
Point her toward Tallulah and have her
affix her tutu to the wall. The tutu closest
to fitting Tallulah correctly wins!

Tallulah’s Imagination
Tallulah often imagines she is a prima ballerina. Next to the picture of Tallulah practicing
at the barre with her teacher, draw Tallulah as she imagines
herself to be—in a beautiful tutu and tiara as the star of the recital.
