Keeping Olympia Clean
Ensuring a Cleaner Ocean
It’s all related! The commitment
Olympia residents make today is the
first step to ensuring all can enjoy
cleaner canals, lakes and oceans year
round. There are serious
consequences of the global marine
debris and it starts in our backyards.
Pick up! Thanks to the volunteers
who made the commitment at the
International Coastal Cleanup held
on Saturday, September 20th.
Brittany and Harry Roberts, Monica and Pam
Newman, Jim and Linda Biancarosa, Lee Goldman,
Frank Alba and The Kohlbeck Family.
UNICEF was established on December 11, 1946 by the
United Nations to meet the emergency needs of children
in post-war Europe and China. In 1950, kids in
Philadelphia created Trick or Treat for UNICEF.They
collected $17 in decorated milk cartons on Halloween.
Stop by the Clubhouse to pick up a UNICEF
Trick-or-Treat Box anytime after October 20th. Return the box to the
Clubhouse after trick-or-treating and collecting donations to UNICEF.
Every year, millions of children are dying of preventative causes.
With your help, we have the power to save them.

By forming partnerships with local law Enforcement and public safety organizations, Palm Beach
Project Lifesaver deploys specially trained teams with the most reliable technology available to quickly
locate and return wandering adults and children to their families and caregivers. Project Lifesaver
relies on proven radio technology and a specially trained search and rescue team. Clients that are
enrolled in the Project Lifesaver wear a personalized wristband that emits
a tracking signal. When caregivers notify that the person is missing, a
search and rescue team responds to the wanderer’s area and starts
searching with the mobile locater tracking system. Search times have been
reduced from hours and days to minutes.
Please contact Michelle Damone at (561) 753-6053 or
