What is a CIC message you say? • - It is the acronym for Catalog in Confirmation - Status of whether or not an item was successfully published to the intended recipient and it is sent every time you publish an item at the GTIN® level Statuses • - Accepted – Eligible item, waiting for distributor to action - Review – Failing GDSN® or recipient audit - Reject – Recipient rejects data - Synchronized – data is accepted by distributor The goal should be to have items be in ‘Accepted’ or ‘Synchronized’ status, check with your data pool provider to see how they can provide this info © 2016 GS1 US All Rights Reserved PIM & New Product Setup Process 1.
